EVM Institutional Day wrapped at TEIZA's Kuala Lumpur office on 1 September 2026, bringing institutional Ethereum adoption down from concept to specifics. The room was bankers, regulators, exchange operators and infrastructure providers rather than a general crypto audience. The programme ran from 2pm to 8pm, with a networking reception from 6pm.
Panel one: What Institutional Adoption Needs from the On-chain Tech Stack
Moderated by Cathal Donnellan (President, NexStox), the panel brought together Harpreet Singh Maan (CEO and Co-Founder, TEIZA), Kaven Choi (BD Manager, Etherscan) and Pradeep RV Singh (CEO and Co-Founder, gateway.fm). The conversation stayed at the level that matters to institutions weighing on-chain infrastructure: custody, data reliability, and the operational layer beneath any adoption headline.

Panel two: Institutional Blockchain and Digital Assets Adoption in Practice
Moderated by Rene Fischer-Bernard (Vice President, ACCESS Blockchain Association Malaysia, and Community Lead, Morpheus AI Asia), the panel brought together Mo Jalil (CEO, EthSystems), Ji Sheng Tan (CEO, GamBit Group) and Justin Heng (Head of OTC, HATA). It was a grounded look at where Malaysia's digital asset market stands today, following recent Securities Commission and Bank Negara guidance.

“This is what institutional adoption actually looks like up close: less hype, more operational detail.”
Thank you to every speaker who joined us and every guest who made this the room it was, and to our partners EthSystems, Gateway.fm, Ovanti and iSentric Sdn Bhd. Conversations like these are exactly why we host them.
