Kuala Lumpur, 1 September 2026. Three Memoranda of Understanding ("MoUs") were signed in connection with EVM Institutional Day, an institutional event hosted by TEIZA in Kuala Lumpur.
TEIZA, Gateway.fm and EthSystems expand partnership
TEIZA and Gateway.fm AS ("Gateway.fm"), a Norway-incorporated blockchain infrastructure provider, established a strategic MoU in August 2026 to advance institutional on-chain adoption across Southeast Asia, South Asia and Central Asia. Today they expanded that partnership by signing a tripartite MoU with EthSystems, an engineering and research company building confidential infrastructure for institutional Ethereum. The MoU was signed live on stage at the event.
The expanded MoU brings EthSystems' institutional privacy technology into the existing framework, adding a further capability layer alongside TEIZA's regional ecosystem position and Gateway's institutional infrastructure and orchestration expertise.
Connecting regional institutional demand with privacy-preserving infrastructure
Malaysia continues to develop a more structured ecosystem around blockchain, digital assets and institutional financial applications. TEIZA has built a presence within that ecosystem through initiatives including the Malaysia Digital Consortium (previously the Malaysia Blockchain Consortium) and collaborations with organisations on interoperability and institutional blockchain adoption.
For Gateway.fm, the expanded MoU builds on its existing institutional on-chain activity in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian, South Asian and Central Asian markets. EthSystems adds privacy-preserving infrastructure to that foundation, technology intended to let regulated institutions transact on Ethereum while meeting disclosure and compliance obligations, an increasingly common requirement as institutions move from pilots toward production use.
Areas of collaboration
- Technical exploration and use-case development: technical discussions, architecture sessions and workshops spanning TEIZA's infrastructure, Gateway's orchestration capability and EthSystems' privacy technology.
- Product introduction, referral and resale: exploring the introduction, referral and potential resale of each party's products and services to their respective institutional networks.
- Joint market development: coordinated go-to-market activity and customer engagement across the three parties' institutional and ecosystem relationships.
- Ecosystem engagement and training: co-hosted workshops, webinars, conferences and training programmes for institutional audiences across the region.
- Ongoing technical and commercial exchange: exchange of technical and commercial information to evaluate integration compatibility as specific opportunities are identified.
TEIZA, iSentric and Ovanti sign MoU
TEIZA also signed a non-binding MoU with iSentric Sdn Bhd, together with Ovanti Limited (ASX: OVT), to explore potential cooperation between TEIZA's blockchain infrastructure and iSentric's fintech and banking-distribution network in Southeast Asia. Proposed areas for evaluation include the introduction, referral and potential resale of each party's products and services, joint market development, technical integration opportunities, and co-hosted ecosystem activities.

iSentric and EthSystems sign separate MoU
Separately, iSentric and EthSystems signed their own non-binding MoU to explore potential cooperation between EthSystems' institutional privacy infrastructure and iSentric's fintech and banking-distribution network in Malaysia.

Building toward deeper engagement
Each of these MoUs is non-binding and records the relevant parties' present intentions only. They are designed as frameworks for evaluating cooperation rather than fixed technical or commercial models from day one. Any further cooperation, including pilots, integrations or implementation engagements, is subject to separate definitive agreements to be negotiated between the relevant parties as specific opportunities are identified.
Supporting the next phase of institutional onchain adoption
s governments, financial institutions and enterprises move toward real on-chain financial applications, adoption increasingly depends on bringing together infrastructure, privacy, interoperability and market connectivity around a specific use case. By combining TEIZA's regional ecosystem position, Gateway's institutional infrastructure and orchestration capability, and EthSystems' institutional privacy technology, the three parties intend to build a practical pathway toward identifying and developing those opportunities.
