TEIZA and MASVERSE Join Forces to Build Interoperable Operating System, Advancing Malaysia’s Digital Economy

Strategic MOU Combines TEIZA’s Omnilayer Protocol with MasChain’s Layer-1 Public Permissioned Blockchain to Unlock Government, Islamic Finance, and Real-World Asset Use Cases

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — 26 February, 2026 — TEIZA, The Operating System of Digital Economies, and MASVERSE Sdn. Bhd., the Malaysian Web3 company behind MasChain, today announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore technical interoperability and co-develop institutional-grade blockchain solutions for governments, financial institutions, and enterprises across Malaysia and the wider region.

The collaboration brings together two complementary pillars of Malaysia’s national blockchain ecosystem: TEIZA’s multi-layer Omnilayer Protocol, designed for sovereign-grade digital infrastructure, and MasChain, a Layer-1 blockchain with a proven track record in government and enterprise deployments. Together, the two parties aim to unlock powerful new capabilities across real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation, digital identity, Islamic finance, supply-chain traceability, and government digital services supporting Malaysia’s ambition to be a leading digital economy and blockchain hub.

A Complementary Union of National Blockchain Infrastructure

The MOU establishes a framework for exploration and collaboration across five strategic areas:

1. Technical Interoperability: The parties will explore technical connectivity between TEIZA’s Omnilayer Protocol and MasChain, including interoperability mechanisms such as bridges, messaging layers, and APIs that enable secure movement and verification of digital assets, credentials, and data across both systems.

2. Institutional Use-Case Development: TEIZA and MASVERSE will identify, co-design, and pilot selected use-cases across agreed verticals, including real-world asset tokenisation (real estate and institutional assets), digital identity and credentialing, Islamic finance and social finance (e.g. zakat, waqf, sadaqah), supply-chain and trade finance traceability, and government and public-sector digital services.

3. National and Institutional Deployment: The parties will jointly engage, where mutually agreed, with government ministries, regulators, financial institutions, and enterprises to evaluate blockchain pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives that serve Malaysia’s national digital agenda.

4. Standards and Governance: Both parties will contribute to discussions on blockchain standards, policies, and governance frameworks aligned with Malaysia’s National Blockchain Policy and recognised industry best practices.

5. Knowledge and Ecosystem Development: The partnership will support training initiatives, workshops, and ecosystem development programmes to build blockchain awareness and technical capabilities among government entities, institutions, enterprises, and developer communities.

Quotes

Harpreet Singh Maan, Co-Founder & CEO of TEIZA, commented:

“MASVERSE and MasChain represent exactly the kind of proven, national-grade infrastructure partner that TEIZA is designed to complement. TEIZA’s Omnilayer Protocol provides the sovereign, institutional trust layer, while MasChain brings deep government and enterprise deployment experience. Together, we can offer a truly interoperable and comprehensive blockchain foundation for Malaysia — one that can serve governments and institutions with the security, compliance, and scale that they require.”

Chew Kian Kok, CEO of MASVERSE, stated:

“MasChain was built as a nationally trusted, MOF-certified Layer-1 infrastructure to support real institutional adoption of blockchain across Malaysia. By exploring interoperability with TEIZA’s Omnilayer Protocol, we are combining sovereign-grade architecture with MasChain’s proven government and enterprise deployments. This collaboration has the potential to accelerate real-world blockchain adoption across both the public and private sectors — from digital identity and Islamic finance to real-world asset tokenisation and government services. We are proud to explore this partnership as part of Malaysia’s broader digital transformation journey.”

Supporting Malaysia’s Digital Economy and Blockchain Consortium

A key dimension of this collaboration is its alignment with the Malaysia Blockchain Consortium (MYBC), a national initiative to unite government agencies, financial institutions, enterprises, and technology providers in advancing blockchain adoption across Malaysia.

MASVERSE, a Ministry of Finance (MOF)-certified vendor, has worked with national and state-level institutions across fintech, Islamic finance, certification, and social finance, making it a natural fit within the consortium’s mission to build a trusted, interoperable national blockchain ecosystem.
